The Golf Digest February Open will take place on 17th February 2012 at the Portmarnock Links championship course originally designed by Bernhard Langer, a previous host of the 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Opens. With blind approaches and doglegs a plenty, the course should prove to be exciting and challenging to all golfers.

Entry costs €80 per player and is open to all who wish to participate. Only golfers with an official GUI or ILGU handicap can enter the main competition, but all participants will be considered for both novelty and raffle prizes. Winners of the main competition move onto the Grand Final at Doonbeg, where they’ll be treated to a two-days, two-nights accommodation during the 36-hole championship.
